North American Pop-Tart Week Finally Announced

After more than seven years of anticipation, Kellogg declares July 13, 2008 the beginning of the first annual North American Pop-Tart Week.
Kellogg, the maker of the rectangular toaster pastries known as Pop-Tarts, announced early this morning that the week of July 13 will be the official North American Pop-Tart week. Convention centers from Mexico City to Ottawa will be filled with people demonstrating new flavors and cooking techniques.
To celebrate the occasion, Snack You Silly will be devoting all of next to week to Pop-Tart (or pup-tarts, as my dog calls them) reviews, news stories, and gossip. We’ll be reviewing different flavors, and offering unique perspective at the brand’s majesty. If you’ve got a great video or picture of a Pop-Tart week event, send it to bcbernstein[a/T]gmail.com and we’ll post it up. Here’s to a fun and safe North American Pop-Tart week!

Those aren’t Pop-Tarts. They’re a paltry imitation brand. I would have expected more from SYS.
