A whole new system of thought, concept, and execution, Pop-Tarts would change the world forever upon release in 1967. From their foil wrapping that was originally used for dogfood to their characteristic frosting that miraculously doesn’t melt in the toaster, Pop-Tarts are iconic North American ingenuity, rife with the teary complexities and magnanimous histories of the great continent itself.

    Jill Skylab Brings 12 Years of SFA Experience to the SYS Team

    We are thrilled to welcome Jill Skylab, former Director of Regulatory and Technical Affairs for the Snack Food Association, to the SYS team. Jill is best known for her pioneering work in snack manufacturing techniques. Jill was also the driving force of the twenty dollar-day (TDD) for snackfood workers throughout Indochina.

    Here at Snack You Silly, Jill will be primarily managing the Weekly Caption Contest, editing pictures, rating quotes, and moderating comments. We hope you’ll join us in making her feel at home. And one last thing: don’t complain about last year’s SNAXPO to our newest employee… she planned the whole convention!
